Several types of therapy are available, including cognitive, behavioral, and psychodynamics. A thorough evaluation of the presenting problem will help determine the type of therapy that is offered. Whenever possible, clients will be informed if there is empirical support for treatments for a particular problem. For example, cognitive therapy, behavioral activation therapy, or interpersonal therapy and/or a medical evaluation might be recommended to help an adult overcome depression. In addition to individual therapy for children and adults, we offer couple, family, and group therapy.
