You can help the Psychology Department expand our programs and services to our students and the greater community. Consider supporting one of the following funds to have the greatest impact. Don’t want to donate to a particular area? Friends of Psychology is our most flexible fund.
Support our mission to promote healthy minds and society
Our unique and broad collection of research programs enables us to help solve pressing societal challenges, such as social inequality and mental health concerns. And through our stellar cognitive and behaviorally oriented brain research, we innovate technologies that improve your quality of life. Your contributions will help us recruit the best faculty and make new discoveries promoting healthy minds and society.
Improve undergraduate education
Our Psychology major is one of the best in the country, offering students opportunities to work at internships, participate in community fieldwork, and work with faculty on cutting-edge research projects. We also support our undergraduates through Honors Program research funding, the Statistics and Methodology Lab, SmartPsych, the Psychology Study Center, and provide social and learning opportunities.
Support top graduate students
Every year, we compete with the top Psychology departments in the country for the nation's best graduate students. The biggest problem we face in this competition is a lack of summer support and research fellowships to allow our graduate students to pursue innovative research and service projects—and survive the high cost of living in the Seattle area. You can help by contributing to any of the graduate support funds.
