Redesigning Undergraduate Education in the Age of AI — for Human Judgment, Creativity, and Intellectual DepthYou've likely found AI efficient, sometimes brilliant, and also frustrating in how it flattens your ideas and dulls your thinking. This group takes that seriously. Part of our work is diagnostic: how does AI harm us intellectually, socially, emotionally, psychologically? Then we use what we learn to design curriculum where AI deepens human judgment, creativity, and intellectual depth.
We meet two hours each Friday. We read together (human-robot interaction, Value Sensitive Design, moral development, AI and the university), then build short curriculum exercises, test them on each other, critique, redesign.

Minimum Requirements
No prior work on AI or specific coursework is required. Students in any year are welcome.What the work does ask for: interest in reading outside your own discipline and discussing it in a group; a willingness to be wrong in front of the group, since the design work proceeds by finding the flaw in what we built last week. Skepticism about AI is welcome and so is enthusiasm. We'll be stronger through a diversity of perspectives.
