Description

Students will code qualitative responses from parents who were asked about the conversations they would have and have had with their children about racial economic inequality. Tasks will include transcription of audio messages, reading through written open-ended responses, developing and analyzing codes and themes within open-ended responses, and meeting weekly as a team to establish reliability.

Minimum Requirements

Willing to join the lab for 2 quarters (Winter and Spring 2025)
Experience with qualitative research coding (not required, but preferred)
Taken course(s) on developmental psychology, parenting, socialization, inequality, and/or racism in the U.S. (not required, but preferred)
