Description

Acculturation, Diversity, and Psychopathology Team (ADAPT) (see sites.uw.edu/adapt206) is recruiting research-minded, curious, and conscientious students to assist in a multi-year, multi-site study on stressors and resilience, and substance use among African American/Black young adults. Study will involve virtual reality (VR) and short-term daily diary methods.

We welcome students from underrepresented minority backgrounds, who are interested in the Psychology Honors program, and who are considering graduate school training. Given the nature of the study and importance of community-engaged practices, experiences working with the communities of interest are desired and prioritized.

Minimum Requirements

Must commit to one full year and minimum of 6 hours/week

Desired: completed PSYCH209 and GPA 3.5; prior experiences with communities of interest
