The ORPP for SP25 opens on Friday, April 3, 2026. Students will not be able to log in to the system until this date.
The ORPP will close for SP25 at 5 PM on Friday, June 5, 2026. All credits will be final for students, with no exceptions.
Researchers have until 8 PM on Friday, June 5, 2026 to finalize credits for their participants. The system will then close for the end-of-quarter audit.
Important Reminders for Students:
All participation in the ORPP is voluntary! This means you are NOT required to participate in these studies, and there is no requirement to receive any number of credits for your course.
- Many studies will close prior to the end of quarter. Please do not wait until the end of the quarter to participate in studies. Please plan accordingly.
- You will NOT be able to participate in further studies if you have accumulated more than TWO non-excused no shows.
- If you are in MORE THAN ONE participating course, you can only select ONE course to assign your credits to.
- The limit for participating in asyncronous online studies is 3 credits. You may receive an error messages if you attempt to sign up for more than 3 credits of online survey studies. For the remaining credits, you will need to sign up for regular lab studies (usually in-person, non-survey studies).
- It is your responsibility to contact experimenters to make sure you have been granted credits after your participation. If you do not hear back from them for a week, please forward your email to psypool@uw.edu
Underage participants (under the age of 18) may reach out to psypool@uw.edu to inquire about alternative opportunities for research participation, since many studies require participants to be 18 or over.
