Research

Research in the Social Identity Laboratory examines the interplay between social psychological theoretical perspectives and social issues. Much of our research examines the self and social identity; particularly from the perspective of members of socially marginalized groups. Additional research directions include organizational diversity, political psychology, and employment discrimination law. Our research incorporates a variety of methods from psychology and related disciplines, and examines questions both in the lab and field.
