Master's program awards $300,000 in summer scholarship funds

The Department of Psychology’s Master of Arts in Applied Child & Adolescent Psychology: Prevention & Treatment program is admitting our ninth cohort this summer! With support from the Washington State legislature, we were able to confer over $300,000 in scholarship funds this summer to support new and current students in their journey to becoming child mental health providers.

Already in the first eight years of the program, we have several indicators of success and positive labor market outcomes. With over 90% of graduates working in direct clinical service and the overwhelming majority (89%) remaining in Washington state, our graduates are successfully meeting the mental health needs of thousands of diverse children and adolescents in our region!
