PhD Alumnus Jeff Lin, now game director and product design direct at Horizon Metaverse @ Meta, was profiled in a College of Arts & Sciences Perspectives piece. The APA Award for Distinguished Scientific Contribution "honors psychologists who have made distinguished theoretical or empirical contributions to basic research in psychology." UW Psychology PhD alumnus Dr. Michael Fanselow ('80) was one of three psychologists awarded the 2023 award. A full list of awardees can be found on the APA website. 

Leah Chen, who graduated with a BA in Psychology and a BS in Neuroscience from the UW, was named part of the Husky 100 2023 cohort. Leah is currently a medical student at the University of Washington Medical School.
