Description

The School Mental Health Assessment, Research and Training (SMART) Center is a transdisciplinary collaboration between faculty in the College of Education and School of Medicine (Dept. Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences). Through this collaboration, SMART facilitates more equitable, effective, and integrated approaches to research and technical assistance surrounding the design and implementation of evidence-based social, emotional, and behavioral interventions. We are dedicated to the university’s teaching mission and have created a robust 499 Program to provide students with weekly seminars and hands-on activities that directly contribute to our research projects.
