Interests: Interested in language and thought interactions, specifically spatial language, spatial skills and math skills.
Research
My research examines the relations between language and thought, with a particular focus on children’s spatial and quantitative language (i.e., terms such as before, after, between and more, less, equal). I investigate how children’s understanding of these concepts connects to their spatial and mathematical skills, while also exploring the roles that parents and teachers play in shaping these associations.
