Faculty Awards and Honors
Debrielle Jacques came in second place for the National Council on Family Relation’s (NCFR) Best Student/Early Career Presentation Award. Her solo-authored paper that received the honorable mention was titled, “Reframing Family Addiction via Multilevel Contextual & Developmental Lenses,” and was presented at NCFR’s Theory Construction and Research Methodology preconference in Baltimore, MD.
Priscilla Lui was selected to serve as a Standing Member for the Social Psychology, Personality and Interpersonal Processes Study Section of the National Institutes of Health Center for Scientific Review. Her term of service runs through June 2029.
Debrielle Jacques presented a roundtable on reproductive and psychological justice at the Association for Psychological Science Global Summit.

Priscilla Lui’s lab published a paper in the Journal of Empirical Research on Human Research Ethics titled, “Using Virtual Reality in Discrimination Research: Ethical Considerations and Participants’ Perspectives.”
Assistant professor Katherine Foster and grad student Laila Volpe co-wrote a paper for the Journal of Adolescent Health reposted on ScienceDirect.com titled, “The Protective Impact of Social Support on the Cascade Rates Between Internalizing Problems and Alcohol Misuse in Adolescence.”
Cheryl Kaiser appears in the bibliography for a paper on affective polarization published in Social Psychological and Personality Science.
Eun Joo Kim published a paper in Cell Reports representing the culmination of her R21 Grant Project.
