2026 Hooding Ceremony

On the morning of June 13, students graduating with a Ph.D. in 2025-26 gathered in Kane Hall to be celebrated by department faculty, fellow graduate students, staff, family and friends. This year, 11 students participated, and we wish them the best as they move on to new adventures.

During the ceremony, faculty advisors shared their most vivid memories of their advisees, while students recounted their adventures in graduate school and recognized those individuals who provided emotional and intellectual support during their training. Each student received their doctoral hood from their advisor, who assisted the newly minted Ph.D.s to sport their regalia for the first time.
