Professor Scott Murray received a five-year, $4,024,295 grant from NIH National Institute of Mental Health. The award title “Attention allocation as a computational mechanism for altered sensory processing in autism.” This project tests the hypothesis that spatial- and feature-based attention is more narrowly focused and that rapid oscillations of attention occur at a slower rate in people with autism spectrum disorder ASD.
