Victoria Hones received an F31 National Research Service Award from the National Institute of Drug Abuse (NIH). Hones is mentored by Sheri Mizumori.
Congratulations to Victoria Hones (a graduate student in Sheri Mizumori’s laboratory) for receiving an F31 National Research Service Award from the National Institute of Drug Abuse (NIH)! This is a 3-year award that will support Victoria’s investigation into the ‘Neural Signatures and Cognitive Performance During Morphine Withdrawal, and Subsequent Impact of Psilocybin’. Her research will provide a better understanding of why opiate use is addicting, and it will inform the development of future treatments for opiate addiction, especially those involving psychedelics.
