Sheri Mizumori receives competitive renewal grant from NIH NINDS for Brains program
Sheri Mizumori received a five-year, $1,349,994, competitive renewal grant from NIH National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke. Award title: BRAINS: Broadening the Representation of Academic Investigators in NeuroSciences - A National Program to Increase the Advancement of Neuroscience Researchers from Diverse Backgrounds. The primary goal of this project is to allow BRAINS to continue to empower over 200 neuroscientists from URMGs (underrepresented and marginalized groups) to thrive and advance in their careers.
