Dr. Nancy Gonzales, a distinguished alumna of our clinical psychology graduate program, has been named Provost at Arizona State University.
Dr. Gonzales was mentored by President Ana Mari Cauce, whose training played an influential role in shaping her career. Dr. Gonzales's groundbreaking research explores culturally-grounded models of family and youth resilience in low-income communities, and her work has enormous translational impact in society. She recently gave a talk hosted by the Center for Child and Family Well-Being where she had some lovely memories to share about her time in our department.
