Congratulations to Wendy Stone, who just received a new 5-year grant from NIMH!
The award is for work entitled “Improving the Part C Early Intervention Service Delivery System for Children with ASD: A Randomized Clinical Trial.”
This is a large multi-site trial that will span 4 states with structurally and demographically diverse Early Intervention systems: Washington, Illinois, Boston, and Michigan. She will be studying the effectiveness of a parent-mediated intervention, Reciprocal Imitation Training, as well as the mechanisms by which it improves outcomes and considerations for implementation at scale.
