Stephanie Fryberg received an award from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation in the amount of $899,000 for her research titled: Scaling Up Educational Culture Change: Culturally Inclusive Growth Mindset Teacher Training.
Stephanie Fryberg was also awarded $500,000 from the UBS Optimus Foundation for her work titled: Enhancing Cultural Toolkits and Student Mindsets Teacher Training Institute.
