Former UW Honors student Emily Slezak (BS, 2014) won the prize for best student presentation at the recent symposium of the International Colour Vision Society in Erlangen, Germany.

Emily is starting her third year in the Psychology Ph.D. program at University of Chicago, working with Steven Shevell. Her UW Honors mentor, Steve Buck , was elected to Honorary (equivalent to Fellow) status at the same symposium and stepped down from 12 years as General Secretary for ICVS.
