Frank Smoll was invited to conduct workshops for sport parents in a series of Innovative Adult Programs sponsored by the King County Library Systems.
The Mastery Approach to Parenting in Sports (MAPS) is an evidence-based intervention that teaches parents how to create a mastery climate—a learning environment that promotes achievement in all areas of life, including sports. MAPS was developed and tested in the Youth Enrichment in Sports project, which is co-directed by Frank Smoll and Ron Smith.
