Frank Smoll was an invited speaker at the Aspen Institute's Project Play roundtable.

Project partners include the Clinton Health Matters Initiative, ESPN, and Nike. Project Play seeks to lay the foundation for the nation to get and keep more children involved in sports, targeting the epidemic of physical inactivity. "Kid-Focused, Coach-Driven: What Training Is Needed?" November 20th was the second in a series of roundtables focusing on how to grow the quality and quantity of community coaches, given the critical role they play in getting and keeping kids engaged in sports. Frank's talk was titled "The Need for Evidence-Based Coach Training."
