Jennifer Wang was lead author on "When the Seemingly Innocuous' Stings': Racial Microaggressions and Their Emotional Consequences," that was published in Personality and Social Psychology Bulletin XX(X) 1-13.

Janxin Leu and Yuichi Shoda are co-authors. Their research clarified how perceptions of subtle racial discrimination that do not necessarily involve negative treatment may account for the “sting” of racial microaggressions, influencing the emotional well-being of racial minorities, even among Asian Americans, a group not often expected to experience racism.
