Undergraduate Awards and Honors

Undergraduate honors student Bridget Leonard won the Allan Newell Award for the best student paper. Her paper was the result of her honors thesis. Bridget is mentored by Andrea Stocco. 

Undergraduate student and UW Psychology front office assistant, Dave Young, was awarded an Arc of Washington Trust Fund student stipend of $5,000. The Arc of Washington Trust Fund has been supporting research and training of individuals working with the intellectually / developmentally disabled community since 1950. This is the second year that Mr. Young has received this stipend.

Dave Young and Kavin Srinakarin were named 2023-24 Levinson Scholars. The Levinson Emerging Scholars (LES) Program is designed to support students who work on creative and sophisticated research projects in biosciences and related fields under the guidance of University of Washington faculty.
