Congratulations to Nevada Simpson, an undergraduate working in Andrea Stocco’s lab, who just won the Allen Newell Award for Best Student Paper at the joint MathPsych/ICCM conference, the joint meeting of the Society for Mathematical Psychology and the International Conference on Computational Modeling. Nevada's paper is titled "Sleep Regularity Modulates the Effect of Sleep Duration on Long-Term Memory Function in Healthy Undergraduates", and was co-authored by Anais Capik (a former undergrad here at UW); Nevada is mentored by Andrea Stocco and biology professor Horacio de la Iglesia.
