Policy on Delegation of Authority: Hiring, Reappointment, and Faculty Actions- The Department of Psychology has established a faculty committee to oversee various faculty actions, including the hiring, reappointment, retention, and merit evaluation of short-term faculty members. This committee is authorized to make decisions regarding these appointments for the 2025-2026 academic year.
Committee Members for the 2025-2026 academic year: Culligan, George, Gire, Lengua, Meltzoff, Stocco, Wilkins
Titles requiring SPC vote:
- Clinical Instructors Non-Salaried (Instructors for the Master’s Program)
- Emeritus title
- Lecturer Part-Time & Full-Time, Temporary
- Visiting Titles: Visiting Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor;
- Visiting Lecturer; Visiting Scientist; and Visiting Scholar
- A second committee has been formed to oversee various faculty actions, including hiring, reappointment, retention, and merit evaluation of Clinical Supervisors. This committee is authorized to make decisions regarding these appointments for the 2025-2026 academic year.
