Drew Sylva is a Seattle-based sociologist whose work focuses on American identity formation, socialization patterns, and the bio-psycho-social factors shaping health. Raised in Oakland, they began studying sociology at 15 and completed their undergraduate education at Seattle University.

This event is part of the Learn. Connect. Build Community. talk series, and is hosted in part by UW Psychology's Black Adult Resiliency Study.
