Short Project Description

Project SAM is a longitudinal study on young adults' daily health behaviors and how different daily experiences may impact immediate and longer-term health. It involves one participant visit to our local lab, six two-week sets of daily online surveys over two years, and three additional longer online surveys once a year. Project Transitions is longitudinal study exploring young adults’ life experiences, transitions, and health behaviors. The study is in the retention stage with all participants enrolled. Participants are completing two years of monthly online surveys and one additional survey at Month 36. Project SAM is housed in the Center for the Study of Health and Risk Behaviors in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences.
