Short Project Description

Project Transitions is longitudinal study exploring young adults’ life experiences, transitions, and health behaviors. The study involves one participant visit to our local lab and monthly online surveys for 2 years with one additional survey in year 3. Research assistants will play an important role in contacting participants for retention purposes, testing programmed surveys, documentation of study materials, conducting literature searches on relevant topics, and other administrative/clerical tasks.

Skills / Experience Preferred

Computer skills such as MS Word, MS Excel and SPSS are desirable. Experience using PsycInfo to conduct literature searches is also preferred. Students who have taken Psych 209 and Psych 315 (or Psych 317/318) are preferred, but those courses are not prerequisite to signing up for this 499 - Comfortable working with people and using the telephone for participant retention.
